Landscape & Adventure Photographer
Hello! I’m Evan. I’m 31 years old and I’m from Washington State in the Pacific Northwest. I work as an Award Manager for a non-profit that supports medical research. Outside of work, I love to hike, cook, read, meditate, travel, and of course, take photographs.
Growing up in Washington, I’m incredibly fortunate to have been exposed to the outdoors at such a young age, whether that entailed playing on sports teams, going on river-rafting excursions with my family, or slowly immersing myself into hiking. It wasn’t until senior year of high school that I signed up for an introduction photography course and became instantly fascinated by the juxtaposition of light and shadows. I knew from the get-go that photography was something I was passionate about, so I picked up my first camera and haven’t looked back since.
Over the years, photography has become an instrumental form of art that’s allowed me to not only see and appreciate the world from countless perspectives but has shaped me into the person I am today. While growing up is filled with countless responsibilities and challenges, photography allows me to embody the little kid that I once was by escaping to beautiful, remote places that provide me with a once familiar overwhelming sense of wonder. Through my photography, I hope to inspire others to respect and take care of this planet.
